The eXTReme (XTR) line features a thicker 0.6 mm high-chromium spring steel core engineered to withstand strong peel forces from edge-to-edge prints and high-shrinkage engineering filaments. Electrostatically powder-coated with authentic ULTEM™ brand PEI on both sides and kiln-baked for maximum durability, this plate delivers a distinct, professional textured finish on the bottom of every print.
Note: A magnetic base or bed clips are required on your printer to secure the Flexi Plate.

Usage & Maintenance Guidelines
Leveling After Installation: Re-level your print bed after installing the Flexi Plate. For machines with automatic bed leveling (ABL), run the leveling macro and adjust your Z-offset to ensure optimal first-layer squish. For manual leveling, adjust your bed screws accordingly. Refer to the Wham Bam Bed Leveling Guide for step-by-step help.
Cleaning & Daily Care: Wipe the textured PEI surface with high-purity Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and a fresh paper towel after every print. For small stuck bits like purge lines, carefully remove them using a steel spatula with rounded corners. Do not use acetone, as it will permanently damage the PEI surface.
Restoring Adhesion: If filament adhesion degrades over time due to grease or oils, wash the plate with warm water and common dish soap or plain white vinegar. To revitalize worn surfaces, pass over the plate lightly with 600-grit wet/dry sandpaper, then clean thoroughly with IPA and a paper towel.
Filament Compatibility & Adhesion Aids: Excellent adhesion with standard filaments including PLA, PETG, TPU, and ABS. For challenging high-temp materials like Nylon, apply purple glue stick or Magigoo as a protective release barrier.
