Note: Requires an existing magnetic base or bed clips installed on your printer to secure the Flexi Plate.
Preparation & Best Practices
Initial Surface Preparation: Scuff the PEX surface in circular motions for 4–5 minutes using 000 steel wool or a red Composite Abrasive Pad (7447) until a uniform satin matte finish is achieved. Clean thoroughly with >90% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and clean paper towels.
Print Temperature Guidelines: Set the nozzle temperature for the first 3 layers towards the lower range specified on your filament spool to protect the PEX surface. Use glue stick as a release barrier for filaments like PETG or ASA that form exceptionally strong bonds.
Part Removal: Always allow the build plate and printed object to cool completely before flexing the plate to release the part. Never flex while warm.
