Fabricate genuine ceramic components on standard FFF/FDM 3D printers with Ceramic Filamet™ Samples by The Virtual Foundry. Compatible with open-architecture 3D printers and 3D printing pens, these ceramic-infused filaments enable you to produce green-state models that can be debound and sintered in a furnace to create 100% solid ceramic parts.

Ceramic Filamet™ prints as smoothly as PLA, exhibiting low hygroscopic sensitivity and minimal warping. Offered in 100g sample sizes for both 1.75mm and 2.85mm setups, these spooless sample packs provide an easy entryway to test high-performance ceramic materials prior to buying full spools.

Printing & Handling Guidelines

  • Nozzle Requirements: A wear-resistant 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle is recommended to handle abrasive ceramic particles.
  • Feed Path: Maintain a straight path into the extruder to avoid breaking brittle un-sintered filament.
  • Drying Warning: Do not active-dry this filament. Heating degrades the internal binder system.
