Installation & Best Practices

• Preparation: Remove old magnetic sheet/glue. Sand the aluminum plate evenly with 220-grit sandpaper to rough up the metal surface and remove contaminants.
• Cleaning: Thoroughly wipe the surface multiple times with 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and fresh paper towels until no residue remains. Allow the bed to dry completely.
• Adhesive Curing: Apply the magnetic base carefully. Allow the 3M adhesive to fully cure for 72 hours before heating or printing.
• Leveling: Re-run your printer's automatic bed leveling routine or manually level the bed to establish proper first-layer nozzle distance.
