Maintenance Instructions:
Preparation: Substitute GCS for your current cleaner. A standard cleaning typically requires approximately 50ml of solution.
Initiate Cycle: Select Maintenance > Maintenance Part Clean/Replace from your printer menu. We recommend setting a timer for 18 minutes to ensure you complete the process before the printer initiates a heavy auto-clean.
Clean Components: Use a foam swab soaked in GCS to gently brush away dried ink from the interior. Clean the nozzle guard, exhaust cap, and wipers. GCS is designed to dissolve clogs easily—always use a gentle touch to protect delicate components.
Complete: Close the printer cover by the 18-minute mark to allow the machine to perform a standard lighter head cleaning, saving on ink costs.
