The Gold Standard for Beginners
Copper Filamet™ is our most recommended material for those new to metal 3D printing. It is exceptionally easy to print and offers a very forgiving sintering process, making it the ideal entry point for creating 100% metal components.
Printing Experience
Print with a 0.6mm hardened steel nozzle.
Prints similar to PLA with minimal to no warping.
Works with virtually any open-architecture 3D printer (no proprietary hardware required).
Ensure the filament feeds straight into the extruder.
Important: Less hygroscopic than PLA. Do not dry this filament—drying will degrade the binder.
Sintering & Conductivity
Fully Sinterable: After printing, your part can be fired in a furnace to become 100% pure copper. This material is perfect for functional parts requiring high thermal or electrical conductivity.
Applications
Functional metal prototyping
Induction coils and Heat sinks
Antimicrobial surfaces and components
Electrical and Thermal conductivity research
One-off and short-run manufacturing
All formats print just like PLA on most open-architecture 3D printers. Large orders may be subject to longer lead times.
