COEX 3D - Flex™ 60A TPU Filament - Natural | Ultra-Soft, High-Elasticity Rubber-Like Material
COEX 3D - Flex™ 60A TPU Filament - Natural | Ultra-Soft, High-Elasticity Rubber-Like Material
COEX Flex™ 60A TPU is the pinnacle of material flexibility in the 3D printing industry. Engineered for applications where true rubber-like compliance and elasticity are required, this 60A Shore hardness material is significantly softer and more flexible than standard flexible filaments like NinjaFlex or FilaFlex. Whether printed with low or high infill, your finished parts will retain a "rubber band" feel, making them perfect for soft-touch handles, custom gaskets, or protective skins that need to flex, stretch, and recover. The Natural finish provides a clean, semi-translucent look that showcases the raw, high-quality nature of our TPU resin.
Critical Printing Disclaimer: This is a high-performance, ultra-soft engineering filament. It is challenging to print and is not intended for beginners. To achieve successful prints, you must use a 3D printer with a direct-drive extruder featuring a fully constrained, tight-tolerance filament path (to prevent the material from buckling). We strongly recommend using a PTFE-lined hotend, as this ultra-flexible TPU tends to adhere to the walls of all-metal hotends. If you are unsure if your specific hardware is capable of handling a 60A durometer, please contact our support team before purchasing.
Key Benefits & Performance
- Unmatched Elasticity: The most flexible filament on the market; produces parts that are truly pliable and rubber-like.
- Engineered Durability: Offers exceptional wear resistance and long-term structural recovery.
- Superior Layer Adhesion: Formulated to create solid, watertight, and reliable parts even under high-stretch conditions.
Ideal Applications
- Ergonomic Components: Soft, comfortable grips and handles.
- Protective Assemblies: Custom-fitted phone skins, impact-absorbing cases, and protective bumpers.
- Mechanical Sealing: Bespoke, high-compliance gaskets and custom-shaped industrial seals.
- Flexible Prototyping: Any design requiring extreme compliance, stretch, or vibration dampening.
Pro Tips for Success
- Hardware Requirement: Direct-drive extruder is mandatory.
- Hotend Compatibility: PTFE-lined hotends are highly recommended. If you utilize an all-metal hotend, seasoning the internal walls may be required to prevent sticking.
- Calibration: Ensure your filament path is fully constrained to avoid jams.
