Recommended Print Settings
For the most brilliant shine and strongest layer bonding, we recommend the following parameters (adjust based on your specific setup):
Hotend Temperature: 215°C - 235°C
Note: This range may be higher than other silk filaments. Our use of 100% virgin resin requires slightly elevated temperatures for optimal flow.
Heated Bed Temperature: 40°C - 60°C (Recommended for superior first-layer adhesion).
Cooling Fan: Recommended up to 100% speed to maximize detail and surface clarity.
Filament Care: Silk filament is hygroscopic. To prevent stringing or "popping" at the hotend, store in a dry environment. If exposed to humidity, dry at 55°C for at least 3 hours.
