Elevate your 3D printing results with the Ambrosia ASA-GF "Filament of the Gods". Formulated from premium 100% Virgin Grade-A pellets and reinforced with long-chopped Glass Fiber, this high-performance ASA composite material delivers extreme stiffness, impact toughness, and elevated heat resistance. It is the ultimate choice for printing outdoor-grade, high-strength structural parts, jigs, and professional engineering components.
Extreme Structural Rigidity and Weather Resistance
While standard ASA is widely regarded as the successor to ABS due to its incredible UV, temperature, and weather resistance, the addition of glass fiber reinforcement takes those properties to the next level. The long-chopped glass fiber matrix dramatically increases tensile strength and flexural modulus while significantly reducing warping during the print cycle. This makes it highly stable and reliable for printing functional, heavy-duty parts.
Bambu Lab AMS Friendly & Eco-Conscious Packaging
Designed with modern multi-material systems in mind, this filament is wound onto a premium cardboard spool that works seamlessly inside the Bambu Lab AMS setup. To protect the planet, your spool arrives shipped in a cardboard box, vacuum-sealed with a high-capacity desiccant bag to ensure it stays dry and ready to print. Please note: The spool adhesive is rated up to 70°C (158°F). If drying at higher temperatures, we recommend using a printed spool ring adapter.
Heated Bed Temperature: 100°C - 120°C (Recommended: 110°C on Textured PEI)
Enclosure & Ventilation: A heated printer chamber/enclosure is highly recommended to limit shrinking. Print strictly in a well-ventilated space.
Soluble Supports: Fully compatible with HIPS for complex multi-material geometry prints.
⚠️ Crucial Hardware & Safety Requirements
Abrasive Filament Warning: Glass fiber strands will rapidly erode standard brass nozzles. To maintain extrusion accuracy, we strongly advise printing this material exclusively with a wear-resistant toolhead, such as a Tungsten Carbide Nozzle (e.g., the West3D Undertaker).
Fumes and Particulate Safety: Extruding ASA releases toxic Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Additionally, handling or post-processing glass fiber prints carries a physical irritation risk. Never sand printed parts without proper personal protective equipment (respirator and gloves), and run your prints inside a filtration-equipped enclosure.
