Ambrosia Filament’s ASA-CF is the industrial evolution of standard ASA. By infusing 100% Virgin Grade-A ASA with long chopped Carbon Fiber strands, we’ve created a filament that is significantly stiffer, more rigid, and offers exceptional layer adhesion. Because of the carbon fiber content, this material produces a professional, dark matte finish.
ASA-CF is the natural successor to ABS, providing high strength, impact resistance, and superior weather/UV stability. It prints with less warping than standard ABS, though a heated bed and enclosure are required for optimal results.
Industrial Strength: Carbon Fiber is lighter than plastic and stronger than many metals, offering incredible heat resistance.
Precision Manufacturing: +/- 0.03mm diameter tolerance for consistent, "butter-smooth" extrusion.
Packaging: Arrives in a cardboard box, wound on a recyclable cardboard spool, and vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
Specifications: 1.75mm diameter | 1KG Net Weight.
Spool Care: The spool adhesive is rated for environments up to 70°C (158°F). If using a filament dryer or heated chamber exceeding this, we recommend printing a spool clip or ring.
