3D-Fuel - Standard PLA+ 3D Printer Filament, Glow-in-the-Dark | 1.75mm, 1kg
Bring an luminous, light-storing energy to your custom 3D printing projects. The 3D-Fuel Standard PLA+ Filament in Glow-in-the-Dark offers a striking luminescent finish that charges under ambient light and glows brilliantly in darkness. Proudly manufactured entirely in the United States, this specialty Polylactic Acid media delivers predictable extrusion dynamics and robust material strength, making it a spectacular choice for nighttime displays, novelty items, safety markers, and creative design layouts.
100% Virgin NatureWorks Ingeo Resin with Zero Fillers
Eliminate unpredictable clogs and inconsistent melting points. Standard PLA+ is formulated exclusively using premium virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043d PLA resin. Because this material is blended without cheap fillers or stretchers, it provides a remarkably uniform material density and a highly predictable printing experience. Note that because we prioritize pure resin over additives, your ideal hotend operating temp may run 5°C to 10°C higher than your current generic PLA settings.
Abrasive Material Advice & Bambu Lab AMS Compatibility
Protect your hardware while optimizing multi-color setups. Because glow-in-the-dark filament is infused with luminescent agents, it has highly abrasive qualities; it is strongly recommended to use an abrasion-resistant nozzle, such as hardened steel, to prevent premature wear on standard brass hotends. Additionally, since October 2023, this line has been wound onto Bambu Lab AMS-compliant spools, ensuring native hardware compatibility with modern automated material stations.
Flexible Thermal Profiles & Sweet Sugary Extrusion Smells
- Pleasant Working Environments: Print comfortably in classrooms, offices, and homes. This hard, durable plastic emits a barely noticeable but entirely pleasant, sweet, sugary aroma as it feeds through your hotend.
- Extensive Print Settings: Experience excellent adhesion on a diverse array of print surfaces—including Bambu High-Temp/Textured PEI plates, bare glass, and BuildTak—using a standard hotend temperature range of 190°C to 230°C and a bed temperature of 0°C to 60°C.
- High-Speed Print Capability: Natively supports standard print speeds ranging from 60 to 250 mm/s. Maker spaces can comfortably push past these baselines into high-speed printing zones simply by stepping up the hotend temperature.
