Not quite magenta, not quite purple, our Island Fuchsia Standard PLA+ 3D printer filament sits perfectly in between. Often called "Barney Purple," this vibrant shade will make your 3D prints pop!
Standard PLA+ is a high-grade, entry-level filament manufactured in the USA. By using only virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043d PLA resin—with no fillers or stretchers—we provide a predictable, consistent printing experience. Note: Because our formula is pure, your ideal print temperature may be 5-10°C higher than other PLA brands.
As one of the most popular 3D printing materials globally, our Polylactic Acid (PLA) is favored for its strength and ease of use. During extrusion, it produces a barely noticeable, pleasant sugary scent.
Bambu Lab AMS Compatibility:
Since October 2023, 3D-Fuel Standard PLA+ features a fully AMS-compliant spool. While we transition our inventory, you may receive an older spool style; these remain compatible, though we recommend leaving the AMS lid slightly ajar (a few mm) for the best results.
