Standard PLA+ is our high-quality, entry-level filament. Made exclusively from 100% virgin NatureWorks Ingeo 4043d PLA resin, it contains no fillers or stretchers, ensuring a predictable and reliable printing experience. Because of this purity, you may find that the ideal printing temperature is 5-10°C higher than other PLA brands.
As one of the most popular materials in the world, our PLA+ is prized for its strength and ease of use. It extrudes with a barely noticeable, pleasant sugary scent and is a top choice for multi-color systems like the Bambu Lab AMS.
Bambu Lab AMS Compatibility
Since October 2023, Standard PLA+ features AMS-compliant spools. While older spool types may still be in inventory, they remain compatible with the AMS; we simply recommend leaving the unit lid slightly open (a few mm) during use.
