3D Fuel - Silk PLA+, Silky Silverbell, 1.75mm
3D Fuel - Silk PLA+, Silky Silverbell, 1.75mm
Silky Silverbell Silk PLA+ is a satiny-smooth light silver, offering a significantly lighter and more reflective finish than Metallic Silver Standard PLA+.
3D-Fuel Silk PLA+ is engineered for durability, featuring superior layer-to-layer adhesion compared to other high-shine filaments on the market. While Silk PLA+ is slightly less rigid than our Standard PLA+, it is remarkably tougher and more durable than typical silk filaments.
We use only virgin, American-made NatureWorks Ingeo 4043d PLA resin as our base polymer. This hard plastic produces a barely noticeable, pleasant, sugary aroma during extrusion.
With a vibrant color selection and ease of use, it is an ideal choice for multi-color 3D printing systems like the Bambu Lab AMS.
Print Profiles
For Bambu Lab 3D printers, use the Generic Silk PLA profile.
Bambu AMS Compatibility
3D-Fuel Silk PLA+ is manufactured on spools specifically designed to fit both the Bambu AMS and AMS Lite.

Quality: All 3D-Fuel filament is manufactured in the United States. We maintain complete control over the production process to ensure consistent quality for every spool. Learn more about our quality standards.
Diameter Tolerance: To prevent printing issues caused by diameter variance, we use a multi-axis laser measurement system to monitor filament diameter and ovality in real time.
Packing Information: Each 1kg (2.2 lbs) spool arrives on a durable, AMS-compatible plastic reel, vacuum-sealed with a desiccant packet to protect against moisture.
Test Printing: Our test lab utilizes a wide range of hardware—including Bambu Lab, Creality3D, Prusa, Raise3D, MakerBot, LulzBot, and FlashForge—to ensure our filament delivers professional-grade results across all platforms.
