3D Fuel - Pro PCTG, LulzBot Green, 1.75mm
3D Fuel - Pro PCTG, LulzBot Green, 1.75mm
3D-Fuel Pro PCTG is an advanced engineering filament that offers a significant upgrade over standard PETG. It is tougher (up to 30x the impact strength), more chemically resistant, and provides superior optical clarity. Pro PCTG is easy to use, features a lower moisture absorption rate, and does not require a heated enclosure—simply print it with the same convenience as PETG.
With a broad color selection and reliable extrusion, it is an ideal choice for multi-color 3D printing systems like the Bambu Lab AMS.

Since October 2023, 3D-Fuel spools are manufactured to be AMS-compliant. If you receive an older spool style during our inventory transition, it remains compatible; simply leave the AMS lid open a few mm during operation. View spool specifications.
Pro PCTG: Superior Impact & Chemical Resistance
Engineered for Toughness
Pro PCTG is 20-50% more impact-resistant than standard PETG. By incorporating cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM) into its molecular structure, the material gains increased ductility, allowing parts to absorb energy and dissipate forces rather than cracking.
- High Durability: Ideal for drone parts, propeller guards, and protective housings.
- Functional Flex: Perfect for hinges, clips, and snap-fit components.
- Cold-Weather Performance: Resists embrittlement in low temperatures where PETG fails.
- Enhanced Bonding: Superior layer adhesion reduces structural weak points.
Chemical Resistance Comparison
| Chemical Type | Examples | CRR Rating |
|---|---|---|
| Alcohols | IPA, Ethanol, Methanol | 1.8 |
| Hydrocarbons | Gasoline, Mineral Spirits, Hexane | 2.0 |
| Acids & Bases | Citric Acid, Bleach, Degreasers | 1.4 - 1.5 |
| Oils & Lubricants | Engine Oils, Hydraulic Fluids | 1.6 |
Advanced Moisture Management
Pro PCTG is less hygroscopic than PETG, absorbing only 0.1–0.2% moisture by weight. This leads to cleaner prints with significantly less stringing or bubbling. While the material is more forgiving, we recommend drying at 60-70°C for 4-8 hours for critical applications.
