3D-Fuel Pro PCTG offers a significant performance upgrade over PETG, providing up to 30x the impact strength, enhanced chemical resistance, and superior optical clarity. Designed for ease of use, Pro PCTG features a lower moisture absorption rate and does not require an enclosure—simply print it with the same convenience as PETG.
With its vast color selection and reliable extrusion, it is an ideal choice for multi-color 3D printing systems like the Bambu Lab AMS.
Since October 2023, 3D-Fuel spools have been manufactured to be AMS-compliant. As we transition our warehouse inventory, you may receive an older spool style. These remain compatible with the AMS, though we recommend leaving the AMS lid slightly open (a few mm) during use. View spool specifications.
Pro PCTG: 20-50% Higher Impact Resistance Than PETG
Key Performance Drivers:
Molecular Structure: PCTG utilizes cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM), which provides increased flexibility and toughness compared to the ethylene glycol structure found in PETG.
Ductility: Pro PCTG absorbs and dissipates energy during impact rather than cracking, making it ideal for drone parts, protective housings, and wearable devices.
Inter-layer Bonding: Superior layer adhesion reduces structural weak points, maintaining toughness even in low-temperature environments.

Superior Moisture Resistance
Pro PCTG is significantly less hygroscopic than PETG, with a moisture absorption rate of only 0.1–0.2%. This makes it more forgiving in humid environments and reduces the frequency of drying required to prevent stringing or bubbling. If drying is necessary, we recommend 60-70°C for 4-8 hours.
