3D-Fuel - Pro PCTG Filament – Toolbox Blue, 1.75mm
3D-Fuel Pro PCTG is like PETG but better in many ways. It is tougher (up to 30x tougher than PETG), more chemically resistant, and offers brilliant optical clarity. Pro PCTG is an easy-to-use structural material with a lower moisture absorption rate than PETG and prints flawlessly without requiring an enclosure—use it just like standard PETG filament.
The industrial-grade Toolbox Blue finish delivers a bold, deep color aesthetic to your structural designs. Its ease of printing makes it an ideal choice for multi-color 3D printing systems like the Bambu Lab AMS.
Print Profiles & Bambu AMS Compatibility
Optimize your print setup instantly: print profiles for Pro PCTG on Bambu Lab hardware can be found directly through standard documentation channels.
Since October 2023, 3D-Fuel filaments have been manufactured using AMS-compliant spools. Because warehouse inventory transitions progressively over time, you may receive a traditional spool style. This remains fully compatible with your Bambu AMS by leaving the unit's lid propped open by a few millimeters during production.
Pro PCTG vs. PETG: High Impact Resistance
Pro PCTG is 20% to 50% more impact resistant than PETG due to its advanced molecular structure. Containing cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM), it offers increased flexibility and ductility, allowing parts to absorb and dissipate energy during impact without cracking or shattering. It also provides superior inter-layer bonding, reducing weak points in your 3D prints.
- Drop Resistance: Ideal for high-impact applications like electronic enclosures, custom workshop tool storage, drone components, or wearable items.
- Repeated Stress: Endures repeated bending or sudden forces better than PETG, making it perfect for hinges, clips, snap-fits, and functional parts.
- Extreme Conditions: Resists embrittlement under low temperatures, maintaining its toughness where PETG fails.
Advanced Chemical Resistance
Pro PCTG delivers a significant chemical resistance rating (CRR) advantage over PETG, making it highly stable when exposed to harsh substances:
- Alcohols & Hydrocarbons: Resists prolonged exposure to IPA, ethanol, gasoline, hexane, heptane, and mineral spirits without degrading or stress-cracking.
- Acids & Alkalis: Maintains structural integrity in mild to moderately concentrated acids (acetic, citric, phosphoric) and strong bases (sodium hydroxide).
- Industrial Cleaning Agents: Withstands bleach and industrial degreasers without discoloration or structural damage.
- Oils & Lubricants: Resists swelling, absorption, or weakening from prolonged contact with engine oils and hydraulic fluids.
Lower Moisture Absorption & Easy Drying
Unlike highly hygroscopic materials, Pro PCTG absorbs less moisture than PETG (typically around 0.1–0.2% by weight). Its modified structure reduces polar sites available for moisture interaction, meaning it requires less frequent drying, prevents print defects like bubbling or stringing, and is highly forgiving in humid environments. If drying is needed for optimal performance, bake the filament at 60-70°C for 4-8 hours.

Premium Quality Made in the USA
All 3D-Fuel 3D printer filament is manufactured in the United States with complete control over the manufacturing process. Using a multi-axis laser measurement system, we control filament diameter tolerance and ovality in real time during production to eliminate printing defects. Every full 1kg (2.2 lbs) spool arrives vacuum-sealed with desiccant on a durable plastic reel compatible with the Bambu Lab AMS. Tested thoroughly across major brands including Creality3D, Prusa, Raise3D, MakerBot, LulzBot, and FlashForge.
