3D-Fuel Pro PCTG is an advanced engineering material that offers a significant upgrade over standard PETG. It is tougher (up to 20x the impact strength), more chemically resistant, and provides superior optical clarity. Pro PCTG is easy to use, features a lower moisture absorption rate, and does not require an enclosure—simply use it with the same convenience as PETG.
With a broad color selection and excellent printability, it is an ideal choice for multi-color 3D printing systems like the Bambu Lab AMS.
Print Profiles & Compatibility

Since October 2023, 3D-Fuel spools are manufactured to be AMS-compliant. If you receive an older spool style during our inventory transition, it remains compatible; simply leave the AMS lid open a few mm during use. View spool specifications.
Pro PCTG: Superior Impact & Chemical Resistance
Pro PCTG is 20-50% more impact-resistant than standard PETG. By incorporating cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM) into its molecular structure, the material gains increased ductility, allowing parts to absorb energy and dissipate forces rather than cracking or shattering.
-
Drop Resistance: Ideal for protective housings, tool enclosures, and wearable devices.
-
Repeated Stress: High endurance for clips, snap-fits, and living hinges.
-
Extreme Conditions: Resists embrittlement in low temperatures where PETG may fail.
-
Superior Adhesion: Enhanced inter-layer bonding reduces structural weak points.

Advanced Moisture Resistance
Pro PCTG is significantly less hygroscopic than PETG, absorbing only 0.1–0.2% moisture by weight. This results in fewer print defects like stringing or bubbling and requires less frequent drying cycles. For optimal results, dry at 60-70°C for 4-8 hours.
